Quality Control
Quality control has always been an important aspect of the Basement Builders mandate. Mike Holmes' specialist inspectors will join our own quality control team to ensure our standards of excellence remain intact. A Holmes Approved rating requires businesses to not only undergo a rigorous initial assessment, but also continue to be assessed by The Holmes Group to ensure the quality level is maintained. We look forward to working with The Holmes Group on all of our basement projects to give homeowners the additional assurance that their basement will be built to the highest standards, and their investment will be protected with a basement that stands the test of time.
How did we get approved?
Mike Holmes’ talented team has carefully analyzed every element of our business to confirm what we’ve always said — Basement Builders consistently uses skilled tradespeople to offer exceptional workmanship, competitive pricing, excellent customer service, skilful in-house designers, an easy on-boarding system plus clear and honest quoting.
Pre-Approval Process
In order to be considered for Holmes Approved Home a rigorous, hands-on inspection process of a number of our basements was undertaken in various stages of development. We passed with flying colours.
Ongoing Inspections
Each basement we develop will be inspected by a Holmes inspector. These inspections go above minimum code and ensure our status as a Holmes Approved builder. The Mike Holmes Inspections team provides unbiased, third-party inspections at critical stages of construction.
Build Quality
As part of our partnership we are obligated to maintain a high level of build quality and craftsmanship. This keeps us accountable and focused on our goals as the top basement builder in the Calgary Area.
Certifications & Insurance
Our entire team maintains a high level of certifications. We also carry at least $1,000,000 in active liability insurance coverage and over-comply with all AH&S and WCB requirements.
