Out with the old, in with the new! We began this development by removing the old wood-burning fireplace. Next, we prioritized comfort underfoot by installing 22-pound underlay for the new carpet on the stairs and the living room floor.
We created a grand entrance by installing a custom stair railing, and elevated downstairs entertaining with a custom wet bar.
To make the entire space cheery and bright, we installed new potlights and painted all the walls in a soft, soothing grey and beige mix.

Since the living room is the main feature of this basement, our client’s top priority was to make it cozy and welcoming. The 60-inch electric fireplace sets the scene, enhanced by the tiled feature wall surrounding it. On either side, we added custom built-ins with dark wood shelves, cabinets and quartz countertops.
We installed a custom door for the cat, another beloved member of the family.
