Basement Builders offers an inclusive warranty on all basements and other custom build and home improvement projects. Basement Builders provides clients with a minimum five-year warranty on all work.

We also offer an unprecedented five-year warranty on all products and materials used. Customers should also note that the warranty is fully transferable to the next homeowners if you sell your property.


  • Undertakes to co-ordinate their work schedule with you.
  • Undertakes to keep you informed on a regular basis about such matters as when to expect sub-contractors, progress updates, and when you are required to make decisions.
  • Undertakes to make themselves available to answer your questions or to deal with changes.
  • Undertakes to honour deadlines outlined in the contract, subject to any change orders.
  • Undertakes to respect your home and family and ensure all others working on the project also do so.


  • The work area should be clear of furniture and personal items, thus protecting your property and making the work area safer.
  • Timely selection of materials (tiles, flooring, etc.) so that the project is not delayed.
  • Changes should be kept to a minimum once work is underway, otherwise, the schedule and budget may require revision.
  • Discuss questions and issues as they arise.
  • Payments should be made in accordance with the schedule outlined in the contract.
  • People with concerns regarding aspects of our warranty should contact a dedicated team member who will provide clear answers to specific inquires.

Our clients in the Silver Springs residential community in Calgary’s Northwest wanted their basement to have a welcoming feel for guests. They also knew it would be the go-to entertainment destination for the family. A long, narrow layout brought an extra layer of challenge, but we achieved a spacious, friendly vibe by keeping the colours light and bright, for an overall fresh, modern feel.

Marina Drive

For their home in Chestermere, our clients were seeking to take full advantage of their walk-out basement. For such a large downstairs space, it was important to prioritize the flow of both the open and closed areas, maximizing the different types of uses, while maintaining a comfortable feeling. Now this updated basement is a family favorite for hanging out.

Apsen Macres Manor

Our clients were seeking to upgrade their Aspen basement to a multi-functional space that would tick off three major boxes: a home office, a large media room and a home gym — even though the lower level of their home only had two rooms. We came up with an affordable solution and creative use of space that would accomplish their goal.
