To begin, we created an extra layer of sound deadening by installing Roxul Safe’N’Sound within the entire ceiling of the basement. We added a laundry sink to the mechanical room with all the necessary plumbing to go with it. To keep the lower level of our client’s home cozy and bright, we installed new 28-ounce carpet and 10-pound underlay, along with fresh ceiling lighting.
We also installed a dedicated circuit for an extra freezer in the mechanical room, because being ready for impromptu barbecue entertaining means keeping a large stash of burger patties and buns on hand.
Just outside the sliding doors that lead to the outdoor barbecue area, we installed a gas line. No more last-minute trips to the store to buy a tank when the urge to grill kicks in.

Even though this basement development is part of our standard package with no upgrades, the space is inviting and relaxing.
