Our clients wanted to enjoy their basement experience without feeling any drafts. We began by bringing the heating up to code in this older home, plus properly sealing and covering an existing window.
We installed new frost walls and spray foam insulation throughout. We also added a sub-panel for the basement, as well as a dedicated circuit for the treadmill.
Luxury vinyl plank flooring begins with the stairs down to the lower level. We opened up the stairway with white spindle railing, and added a fun touch with a cat room under the stairs — along with an exhaust fan for the kitty litter.

Living Room
In the living room, we continued 6.6 mm luxury vinyl plank to offer a wooden floor style while being durable enough for the exercise equipment. In addition to the custom built-in shelving and cupboards for the television area, we installed our famous TV Package to wall-mount the monitor while hiding unsightly wires. We also added an additional internet outlet here to ensure Netflix and Chill nights are truly relaxing, without having to worry about any streaming issues.
Because the room does triple duty as a workspace, we built a custom computer desk for our client. Meanwhile, a reclaimed wood sliding barn door leading to the storage area brings a stylish element to the room.
Living Room

We jackhammered the floor in the bathroom to add necessary groundwork plumbing and in-floor heating. Large-scale tiles and three custom niches in the shower continue the high-end look.
We also installed the medicine cabinet and custom vanity, complete with banjo top. The room has superb-quality Riobel fixtures throughout.
