To ensure the space would be both stylish yet sturdy, we began with luxury vinyl plank, a type of flooring that offers the authentic look of real wood while standing up to anything a young family can bring its way — juice spills, pets, shoes in the house and more. We added 6mm cork underlay for warmth.
Throughout the basement development, a generous layout that features not one, but two bedrooms, we painted the walls a soothing neutral “greige,” inspired by colour tones in the flooring and installed LED lights with dimmers.

In the living room, we took advantage of a lower ceiling area covering duct work to create a custom entertainment nook. We built extra-deep shelving and cupboards in bright, clean white, while leaving the middle free and clear for a flat screen television.
Our renowned TV Package set the television up for success, ensuring wires are hidden and the cable box is clutter-free. We also set the scene for playtime fun, turning a storage room into a secret space by installing a custom book shelf that doubles as doors.
