This affordable basement in this single-family home in the NW Calgary community of Evanston consists of a living area, bedroom, and bathroom. There are LED potlights throughout the basement, in addition to vanity lights and dome lighting selected from our dedicated sales rep at Cartwright Lighting Centre. The basement is carpeted throughout, with the exception of the bathroom and wet bar. A heat run was added to the basement’s bathroom to bring the design up to code. There is also sound deadening insulation in the bedroom, since this is located close to the main living area and TV. The basement has our TV package which includes 1 TV and internet connection, an in-wall HDMI conduit, a raised plug and backing for a wall mounted TV. We matched the trim and doors to those on the home’s other levels for a continuous feel.

The bar has custom wood cabinets selected from our cabinet supplier's show room's extensive selection. We included a Canadian made Riobel faucet, an undermount sink, and granite countertop to complete the sleek look.

We installed a large 5X3 shower with thick 10mm sliding glass doors and impressive floor to ceiling tile chosen by the customer from our supplier's extensive showroom. A 31 inch matching vanity was installed to really tie all the aspects of this basement together.

The living room has quality 25oz shaw carpet installed with a thick 8LB underlay. LED potlights fill in the space giving it the feeling of being on the main level while in the basement. Wall mounting the TV becomes a breeze with the pre installed TV backing. As usual we also included our TV package which consists of 1 TV and internet connection, raised plug and conduit with HDMI.
