This basement makeover in southeast Calgary came with a challenge. Our clients had their hearts set on an entertainment zone large enough to accommodate a full-sized pool table and a wet bar, in addition to a media area big enough for the whole family to enjoy movie nights together. With our TV package install, we ensure there are no visible wires dangling from the flatscreen. But that wasn’t all. Our clients also had a guest room on their wish list. However, their basement didn’t have a separate room to designate as the bedroom.
Basement Builders likes a good challenge, and this one had a solution to satisfy both homeowners and guests. We built a murphy bed into a nook with plenty of cupboards for storage. Meanwhile, a wall inset with accent LED lighting is at the ready to convert into stylish visible storage for pool cues, a built-in frame for art, or anything the client desires.
With LED lighting overhead and 5mm luxury vinyl plank beneath, the basement is now the perfect place to entertain and host overnight guests.
