The journey to the basement area begins with hardwood stairs that match the upstairs floor-covering, for a consistent flow throughout the home. The custom railing also matches the upstairs design. Underneath, a dedicated office nook maximizes the space created by the stairs.
On the ceilings, we used a flat, non-textured Level 5 finish for the ceiling, to emphasize the crisp feeling that was a priority for our clients. Black hinges and door handles throughout the basement level bring a modern style accent, while upgraded doors assure a higher quality level. LED potlights throughout keep the space cheery and bright.

Bathroom
In the bathroom, the sparkling clean, contemporary ambiance continues, albeit with a playful element on the floor: white hexagon mosaic tiles interspersed with an occasional black tile, just to mix it up. The walk-in 5’ x 3’ shower features an In2ition showerhead by Delta and glossy white subway tiles, with 10 mm sliding glass doors. The subway tiles are seen again as a backsplash for the sink, housed in a black cabinet topped with white quartz. Above the sink, a circular mirror offers a charming touch.
Bathroom

A 60" Napoleon electric fireplace keeps the room from being too stark, offering an inviting, cozy feel for movie nights. The TV and fireplace are placed on a feature wall cladded in wood. While painted in the same crisp white colour, the wood brings another texture to the room. Custom built-in shelves on either side of the feature wall incorporate quartz countertops.
In an area defined by stylish wall sconces, a seven-foot bar with matching floating shelves offers chilled options in the wine fridge. Off to the side, in its own zone, an exercise area features a dedicated electrical circuit for the treadmill and elliptical.
