A state of the art basement in a beautiful single-family home in Cranston in SE Calgary.
This particular project required a basement development that would trigger a mindset reset. Our clients enjoyed the luxury of a walk-out basement in their Tuscany home, yet it just didn’t have the appeal to draw family members downstairs. We created an open, airy and bright space with a custom bar that could easily be mistaken for a chic cafe. Now, this is the family’s favorite area in their home.
Our clients in the Cranston community wanted to enjoy their basement, but they also wanted it to work for all their needs. We created a multi-tasking lower level that would tick all the boxes, home gym, media zone, & bar while feeling open and uncluttered.
Just because a basement is brand new doesn’t mean it can’t have good-old fashioned character. Our client wanted to steer away from cookie-cutter while bringing texture into play. Distressed beams made from real, reclaimed barn wood define the personality of this upgraded family space. A new bathroom, improved bedroom, comfort elements throughout, topped off with a high-end entertainment centre plus dry bar means the basement is now a favourite part of the house.
This beautiful basement development consists of many upgrades including an amazing wet bar, fireplace and entertainment setup.
